They welcomed scientists and physicians Dr. Richard Finkel of Nemours Children’s Hospital and Neil Shneider of Columbia University, and affected patients Peter Frates (ALS), Griffen Kingkiner (SMA), and Griffen’s mother Beth Kingkiner.
